THIS IS MY JOURNEY TO
BETTER HEALTH
"Habits are the compound interest of self-improvement." - James Clear

Like many others, I tried to take control of my health time and time again, only to end up back where I started. I followed different diets and worked with multiple personal trainers, both in person and online.
It wasn’t until the spring of 2022, at the age of 28, that I truly learned what it means to live a healthy lifestyle. I attended Hilton Head Health, a wellness facility in South Carolina, where I joined the LoseWell program. That experience completely shifted my approach to health. Shortly after, I travelled to the Mayo Clinic in Arizona and underwent life-changing surgery for endometriosis, one of the many factors impacting my overall wellbeing.
That period of my life didn’t just change my health. It shaped the way I approach coaching.
Long before entering the fitness industry professionally, I spent over 10 years teaching dance. That experience built my foundation in movement, body awareness, and coaching individuals of all ages and skill levels. I also completed my Early Learning and Childcare certification, which strengthened my ability to communicate, adapt, and create a supportive environment for learning.
I began pursuing my certification as a personal trainer in January 2024 and completed my CFES Personal Training Certification in December 2024 at Okanagan College in Kelowna, BC. Since then, I’ve continued to build on that foundation with certifications as an ACE Fitness Nutrition Specialist and ACE Youth Fitness Specialist, along with becoming a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist.
Most recently, I have expanded my education to include pre and postnatal training as well as trauma-informed approaches to coaching. These areas have deepened my understanding of how the body responds not just to exercise, but to stress, life experiences, and different stages of life. It allows me to coach in a way that is more individualized, supportive, and sustainable.
I take my education seriously and will continue to invest in ongoing learning to better serve the people I work with.
What started as a personal journey has grown into something much bigger. I want to connect with, support, and guide others through their own health journey in a way that feels realistic and grounded.
My goal is to provide a space that is judgement-free, educational, and supportive. A place where you can build confidence in both your body and your understanding of it.

If you improve by 1% every day for a year, you'll be approximately 37.7 times better by the end of the year. This is the power of consistent, small improvements.
